Alex the Blankie Bear
Crochet Pattern
Alex the Bear carries his favourite blankie everywhere he goes! This pattern works with any yarn weight and is a great way to use up your yarn scraps. You can craft your own Alex the Blankie Bear in no time! The arms can be crocheted into the body or sewed on at the end. Using chenille yarn and a 4.5mm hook, our Alex the Blankie Bear is approximately 20cm tall. The size will vary depending on yarn used and tension.
Materials
Super bulky chenille yarn (Hobbii Honey Bunny) in
Main Colour – Brown 14 80g (approx. 96m / 105y)
Aran weight acrylic yarn (4 Seasons SpotSaver) in
Contrasting Colour – Cream for the Muzzle
White & Black for embroidery
Worsted weight acrylic yarn (Lion Brand Color Theory)
Provenance (Purple), Moonbeam (White), & Stone Wash (Blue) for the Blankie
4.5mm crochet hook (for chenille yarn)
4mm crochet hook (for acrylic yarn)
15mm plastic safety eyes (not recommended for children under 3 years old)
