Barbara Bee Mini Amigurumi
Crochet Pattern
Forget those giant plushy bees you’ve seen on TikTok! Tiny honey-makers like Barbara are the cutest (in our humble bumble opinion).
This crochet amigurumi bee pattern is perfect for beginners and neurodivergent crafters. The abbreviated instructions are followed by a breakdown in italics making it accessible to anyone. If you’ve had trouble reading patterns in the past, we hope that you’ll love working on this sweet bee.
You can change the size of your bee easily by using different weights of yarn and hook sizes. We have used 8ply yarn and a 3mm hook. Experiment with thicker or thinner yarn to make the bee smaller or bigger. It’s up to you! Feel free to play with different colours and really make the finished bee your own
Using DK yarn and a 3mm hook, our Barbara is approximately 6cm tall. The size will vary depending on yarn used and tension.
