Frequently Asked Questions
How do I download my pattern from the Fox Creations website?
When you buy a pattern on the Fox Creations website, you will receive an email with a link (or multiple links) to the pattern.
You need to click on each link and download the PDF file/s (for example, the Old Gregg doll as TWO files – download them both).
This email is your purchased product. It’s your responsibility to save the email so that you can access the files.
You can also log in to your account (at the top right of the website) to view your purchases and re-download (we have now removed the ability to check-out as a guest due to the influx of messages about downloading files).
Please note that we do not send files via email or re-send links. Again, it is your responsibility to keep the email or log into your account so you can access the files.
How do I download my pattern from Ravelry?
If you have a Ravelry account, all of your pattern purchases are saved in your Library. You can access them at any time – over and over and years later.
Log into your Ravelry account and go to My Notebook / Library.
Please note that we do not send files. You need to access them through Ravelry.
How do I download my pattern from Etsy?
You cannot access digital files on Etsy via the app. You will need to log into your Etsy account via an internet browser (like Chrome). We suggest using a computer rather than your phone if you’re having issues.
Follow this link for an article by Etsy on how to download on their platform.
Please note that we do not send files. You need to access them through Etsy.
Can I order an old Gregg Doll?
The short answer is… no.
Monica made a video about this on our Facebook and TikTok accounts explaining why we don’t sell them. Once you factor in the cost of materials and the hours of work that goes into each doll, we would need to charge around $500 AUD to make it worth our while.
Non-crocheters don’t seem to have a realistic idea of the cost (both materials and time) that are involved in making a detailed piece like our Old Gregg Doll. We got hundreds of messages wanting to order one, so Monica started to ask what they thought it would cost. The average response was $50 – $100 USD.
If you have a spare $500 AUD (plus postage) and want a doll, then please fill out the Custom Order Form above. All of the normal rules apply. The time frame for completion would be 2 – 4 weeks.
