Ragdoll Bunny in Shorts
Crochet Pattern
Inspired by the adorable ragdoll bunny designed by Tina Barriga from the Facebook Group “Random Acts of Crochet Kindness and More”. This Flat Ragdoll Bunny is crocheted completely flat with no polyester filling or plastic eyes! Perfect for gifting to smaller children and using as random acts of kindness. This version is wearing shorts.
One of the best things about this pattern is that it only uses a small amount of yarn, so get out your scraps. Just remember that the hook size will depend on your yarn thickness and tension. Using DK yarn and a 3.5mm hook, our Ragdoll Bunny in Shorts is approximately 19cm tall. The size will vary depending on yarn, hook, and tension.

The Pattern
The Ragdoll Bunny in Shorts is the perfect way to use up some of those yarn scraps you have lying around. The pattern will indicate the colours that we have used, but feel free to experiment with what you have on hand. Add buttons or other little embellishments like embroidery.
We recommend using the same yarn type and weight throughout the pattern to keep the sizing consistent, but you can get funky with it! It’s completely up to you. You can easily make the bunny bigger or smaller by using different weight yarn and a hook to match.

Attaching the Parts
| Embroider the eyes with black yarn over rounds 4 and 5 of the face. The eyes are straight stitches; repeat the stitch 2-3 times |
| Embroider the nose with pink yarn. Centre the nose between the eyes as per the picture. Make the straight vertical stitch for the mouth and then a straight stitch over 3 stitches horizontally, repeated 3 times for the nose. |
| Sew the arms to the side of the shirt (Rd 2 and 3) with a Whip Stitch. |
| Sew the legs to the bottom of the shorts with a Whip Stitch |
